Chest/Width measures across the bust 1” below the armhole, seam to seam.
IMPORTANT: This is a soft style unisex cut shirt with side seams so if you prefer Gildan, which is a tube shirt, you may want to size up so you're comfortable with the fit.
Side seams are part of what makes a "retail fit" shirt meaning if you go to a store, shirts will have side seams where the manufacturer made separate front and back pieces and sewed them together. This means they created allowances for the different shape in the front of our body versus the back and it's a big part of what makes this cut unisex.
It's like jeans, you wouldn't want jeans with the same cut in the butt that they have in the crotch - put your jeans on backwards to see what we mean. Some prefer the tube shape in a shirt so if you do, you may want to size up.
